About the role
In this position you will provide a defined range of clinical screening assessments as delegated and allowed by testing guidelines and legislation and provide a defined range of treatments as prescribed by allied health professionals, working under their general direction including using decision support tools, clinical pathways and patient guidelines.
About You
The successful candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
  • Ability to work closely with consumers or patients with various health care needs work as an Allied Health Assistant in a health care environment including a good understanding of own scope of practice.
  • Willingness to learn, accept guidance and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Sound oral and written communication skills including effective use of computer programs.
  • Ability to participate in quality improvement activities under the guidance of an Allied Health professional.
